Job Title: Sourcing Manager
Prime Objectives:
To develop and expand the supply base in China and other parts of Asia for manufacturing and marketing of all products and commodities world-wide. Support US/Europe-based commodity teams’ initiatives in Asia. Facilitate the globalization’s supply chain.

Main Duties:
• Find and evaluate new suppliers, including assistance in quality audits and supplier development.
• Support the goals of Europe and USA-based Commodity teams on resourcing projects.
• Support the product development needs of the marketing and sales teams in Asia and South America
• Elicit the full support of existing purchasing personnel in Asia for global sourcing initiatives.

Educational Requirements:
• 5 years experience in automotive industry in Asia.
• Three years purchasing experience in the automotive manufacturing sector.
• BA in process engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin).
• Proficiency in other Asian languages a plus.

SOURCING SUPERVISOR:

This Job Responsibilities Compile and maintain accurate and reliable cost information for the import costing model (including all costs – quota, duty, labor, material cost and handling/shipping cost to port). Pre-qualify new factory, shipping reliability, pricing competitiveness and quality. Aggressively negotiate price and materials quality in order to balance product value for an expanding range of goods. Oversee the junior staff in our Shanghai office. Manage day to day operations and clerical matters for the office. Work with existing suppliers as well as finding and developing relationships with new suppliers. Work in our Shanghai office and report directly to the Hong Kong office. Qualifications Degree holder with excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin. Minimum 5 years sourcing experience within the inflatable, toy, swimming&sporting goods categories. Familiar with USA and EU testing standards and procedures in trading and manufacturing field. Proficient in the usage of personal computers including Microsoft Office software. Strong OEM negotiation skills and organization skills. Ability to "drill down" to component breakout and subfactory providers. Local Chinese and immediate available is preferable.
